A self-regulatory body, HomeBond is independent of Government and is a company limited by guarantee. The Board of the company consists of representatives of the residential sector. It offers homebuyers a ten-year warranty which incorporates a structural warranty and financial indemnities in the event of bankruptcy and liquidation.
Over 27 years HomeBond has registered in excess of 500,000 homes which means that approximately 40% of Ireland’s housing stock has benefited or is currently benefiting from HomeBond warranties.
