<p class="is-style-intro-text">Commenced operations in 1981. Intending to improve the quality of housing in The Netherlands, The Woningborg Group is the largest of the three home warranty companies in The Netherlands and consists of three complementary companies dealing with home warranty certification (Woningborg N.V.), technical consultancy (Woningborg Advies B.V.), and technical screening and supervision on applying mandatory building regulations (Woningborg Toetsing en Toezicht B.V.).</p>



<p>Woningborg guarantees against builder bankruptcy, ensures that dwellings covered by the scheme comply with quality requirements, and provides the purchaser security in the event of deficiencies over a 10-year period.</p>

<p class="is-style-intro-text">Founded in 1978, SWK is one of the largest home warranty providers, working with the largest builders and developers in The Netherlands. SWK provides cover for approximately 35% of the new homes across the country.</p>



<p>New home warranties are voluntary in The Netherlands and consist of two types: Delivery and Quality. Not only new houses can be guaranteed, SWK also provides warranty certificates for rental houses, renovation and transformation projects and commercial real estate. In addition energy performance (EPG) certificates can be issued with a 10 year warranty. By 2021 all house construction in Europe should be energy neutral.</p>
